My son has finally actually spoken his first word. I mean "spoken" as in he said it on purpose and knew what he was saying. He makes a lot of sounds while babbling that resemble real words, but he doesn't really mean anything by it. He has since repeated this word several times, on purpose, meaning it.
Oh, I suppose you want to know what the word was?
It was "Daddy"! His father is very proud.
His mother is slightly jealous, but oh well.

YAYYYYYYYYYYY TREV!
:o)
P.S give his cheeks a squeezy kiss from me!
:o)
Hey! Grampa is proud too! (And after all, he spends most of his day with his Daddy while his Mommy is out earning a living!)
Dad
A pat on the back to the young man who is learning how to control his world with words. You go, trev!
Aw, he's so cute! Love how he has his hat set rakishly backwards, lol.
How exciting is that, there will be no stopping him now!! Cheers Margaret
I've got this theory that at his age we are actually at our most intelligent and as we get older we get more stupid.
His babbling is actually probably a theory of relativity but we are too stupid to understand him.
Of course this theory of mine could be complete crap.
If it would have been a daughter, she would have said mommy first.
